A New Platform for a New Moment in American Orthodoxy

There is much unfolding in the Orthodox world today. Conflicts, divisions, and geopolitical entanglements have created an atmosphere of confusion for many faithful in the United States. People are hearing many voices—some rooted in fear, others driven by politics, and still others that have forgotten the pastoral heart of the Gospel.

In such a climate, silence becomes a form of abandonment.
And the American Orthodox Catholic Church will not abandon the faithful.

Today, the AOCC officially launches its new communications platform:

THE AMERICAN ORTHODOX VOICE

This platform exists to provide clarity, strength, and pastoral direction to Orthodox Christians living in America. It will speak into the issues that matter here in this land, with a voice that is:

• Fully Orthodox

• Canonically grounded

• Entirely American

• Uncompromised by foreign geopolitical pressures

For over a century, the AOCC has preserved a canonical, sacramental, and apostolic presence within the United States. Our succession is valid. Our sacraments are true. Our clergy are ordained in the apostolic line. And our right to speak, shepherd, and serve within this nation is rooted in our history and recognized through the canons themselves.

A Call to All Orthodox Christians in America

At this moment in history, we say to every Orthodox Christian:

Do not fall prey to the voices of discord, division, and fear.
Do not let geopolitics masquerade as theology.
Do not allow foreign conflicts to redefine your faith or your belonging in Christ’s Church.

The AOCC offers a viable, canonical, and pastoral home for the Orthodox faithful in America,

sharing the same faith, the same apostolic succession, and the same holy sacraments that have been handed down from the apostles themselves.

You do not need to remain caught between warring jurisdictions.
You do not need to feel isolated, judged, or abandoned.
You do not need to endure confusion when clarity is available.

Why This Platform Matters

The American Orthodox Voice will provide:

• Official statements from the Holy Synod and the Chancellory

• Pastoral guidance for the spiritual life

• Responses to misinformation harming the faithful

• Clear, canonical explanations for those navigating ecclesial confusion

• Commentary on matters affecting Orthodox life in America

• Updates on the ministries and mission of the AOCC

This platform will also operate alongside our newly appointed Press Secretary, Rev. Fr. Don Purdum, who will issue official statements on behalf of the Synod and the Chancellory as needed.

A Voice America Has Needed for a Long Time

The AOCC is not creating division.
We are stepping into the division that already exists and offering healing, clarity, and pastoral care.
We are offering a path forward for those who desire to live the Orthodox faith without coercion, confusion, or foreign political influence.

We are here to shepherd.
We are here to serve.
We are here to give Orthodoxy in this land the voice it deserves.

The American Orthodox Voice is now live.

And with it, Orthodoxy in America gains a voice rooted in faith, truth, and canonical legitimacy.
